Context Not Being Captured
If Logical doesn’t seem to understand the full context of your work, here are the most likely causes: For Multi-Window Understanding:- Issue: Logical only scans the current active window by default
- Solution: Create a Named Task to group multiple windows together
- Learn More: See our Cross-App Understanding guide for step-by-step instructions
- Issue: Your Knowledge Base content isn’t being considered
- Solution: Ensure your Knowledge Base is properly attached:
- For Named Tasks: Attach the Knowledge Base to the specific Task
- For Sticky Tasks: Use the hot-attach feature via the Knowledge Base button
- Learn More: See our Knowledge Bases guide for attachment instructions
Proactive Actions not being suggested for Gmail or Outlook
If you’re not seeing automated actions or suggestions in Gmail or Outlook Online, the issue is likely browser permissions. Solution:- Check Browser Settings: Ensure “JavaScript from Apple Events” is enabled in your browser
- Chrome/Edge: Navigate to Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > Additional Content Settings > JavaScript from Apple Events
- Current Limitation: This feature currently works best with Chrome
To-Do Items Not Being Recognized
If Logical isn’t identifying tasks and action items from your conversations, check these settings: Check Feature Status:- Issue: To-Do Identification may be disabled
- Solution: Enable it in the main settings panel
- Learn More: See our To-Do Identification Configuration guide
- Issue: Tasks aren’t being attributed to you correctly
- Solution: Add your name in the Personal Details section of settings
- Why: This helps Logical distinguish between tasks assigned to you versus others
Permission Issues
If Logical isn’t working as expected, check that all required permissions are granted:- Screen Recording: Required for context understanding
- Accessibility: Required for focus detection and automation
- App-Specific Automation: Required for enhanced integrations
Performance Issues
If Logical is running slowly or using excessive resources:- Check System Resources: Ensure your Mac has sufficient memory available
- Restart Logical: Use the menu bar icon to quit and restart the application
